Believed to be first used by Tibetan Buddhists, the prayer wheel has a cylinder with strips of paper wound inside with prayers and/or sacred texts. This wheel has written “Om Mani Padme Hum” which means “Jewel Lotus” and refers to the Buddha and the wish to end the suffering of man-kind. Spin the wheel clockwise and often to send the prayers to the universe.
